Today, KVFD firefighters went to the Manown area and flow tested several hydrants, testing their capabilities of pressure and flow available in the case of a fire. Visited areas included Dinkenberger Road and Walmart.

Today the KVFD firefighters welcomed their new engine, Engine 56, upon its arrival. It’s a brand new Sutphen, with a 1000 gallon tank, with a pump able to flow 1500 gallons per minute. Thank you Sutphen and Fire & Marine for the work put in to this truck.
