Company 30, the county HAZMAT team, was requested tonight to assist with fluids leaking after a vehicle accident and fire on route 50 just outside of Aurora. Members of Company 5 joined in on Company 30 for the assist, with Company 2 Aurora and Company 10 Rowlesburg already on scene.

Company 5 was requested at 10:30pm as mutual aid in Terra Alta on Spring Street for a structure fire. Engine 55 and Unit 54 went enroute with 9 personnel, and arrived on scene along with Company 2 Aurora and Company 40 Oakland from Garrett County, MD.

Kingwood VFD was dispatched at 14:44 today for a two vehicle MVC along Route 7 with no major injuries, just below Maple Drive. Squad 5, Unit 52 and Unit 54 arrived with 7 personnel and found one vehicle off the roadway and a second vehicle on its side blocking the west bound lane.

At 19:42, Company 5 was paged out for a vehicle fire on Lynne Ave. Engine 57 and Engine 55 arrived at scene with 6 personnel and found a pickup with fire coming from the cab area. Crews quickly extinguished the fire, and was clear of the scene after 20 minutes.

Kingwood was paged out at 9:48pm this evening for a single vehicle accident along Veterans Memorial Highway near West Point. Squad 5, Unit 52 and Unit 54 went en route and arrived on scene with 9 personnel.

At about 10:15 tonight, Company 5 was toned out for a vehicle fire on Dogtown Road. Engine 57 arrived first on scene to find a fully involved vehicle and quickly went to work bringing the fire under control, with the help of personnel in Unit 54.

Shortly after 12:30, Company 5 was paged out for a vehicle fire. Engine 57 and Engine 55 arrived on scene and found a vehicle that had caught fire, adjacent to a couple exposures, but was put out prior to arrival with a fire extinguisher.

At 9:45PM, Company 5 was paged for a single vehicle into a tree that had fallen into the road. Units 54 and 52 responded, and crews found a single vehicle under a tree, with no injuries. 9 personnel worked to remove the tree and the vehicle out of the roadway.

Just before 7:30pm KVFD was dispatched to a 2 vehicle MVC with injuries. Squad 5, Unit 52 and 54 responded with a crew of 11. First arriving units found a head type collision. Firefighters assisted patient packaging and cleaning debris from the road.

At approximately 8:30pm, Kingwood was dispatched for a single vehicle into a utility pole along route 7 near Denkenberger Road. Squad 5 and Unit 52 arrived on scene with 7 personnel, and had found a car had hit a utility pole with the pole broken in half, with the two occupants out of the vehicle.

Just before 9pm KVFD was dispatched to an MVC with injuries on Old Tunnelton Pike. Squad 5, Unit 52 and 54 responded with a crew of 12. First arriving units found 2 patients out the vehicle. Firefighters immediatey started accessing and treating the patients.

Just after 2pm Kingwood was paged to assist Company 9 Reedsville with a vehicle on Dogtown Road. Engine 57, Unit 52 and 54 responded with a crew of 9. Unit 52s crew started extinguishing the fire with RVFDs crew providing back up.
