1:04am KINGWOOD FIRE DEPT (WV) Incident - MV Collision - ATV- LAUREL GLEN LN & RECKART MILL RD, TERRA ALTA WV
Just after midnight, the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported motorcycle accident in Kingwood. Law enforcement initially requested that firefighters stand by at the station. Upon arrival, EMS personnel assessed the severity of the incident and requested KVFD to respond.
Squad 5’s crew assisted EMS with patient care, packaging, and transport to Preston Memorial Hospital.
Just after clearing the hospital, KVFD provided mutual aid to Company 11 – Terra Alta Volunteer Fire Department for a reported ATV accident involving one patient over the embankment.
Squad 5 responded to assist crews on scene and establish a landing zone for Maryland State Police Trooper 5.
These incidents highlight the importance of teamwork and coordination between fire departments, EMS, and air medical resources. |
