KINGWOOD FIRE DEPT (WV) Motor Vehicle Collision – Veterans Memorial Highway
Date: April 4, 2026
Time: 0115 Hours

At 0115 hours, the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with rollover and possible injuries near 18115 Veterans Memorial Highway.

KVFD responded with 2 units and 7 personnel. Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles involved with heavy damage and a large debris field covering both lanes of travel.

Route 7 was temporarily shut down while emergency personnel assessed the scene and evaluated the occupants. EMS units from KAMP and Terra Alta were on scene. One patient was treated and released, while two other individuals denied injuries and refused treatment.
Squad 5 provided scene lighting to assist emergency crews during operations.

Firefighters worked diligently to clear debris from the roadway while Snyder Towing removed both vehicles.

Route 7 was reopened, and crews returned to service at approximately 0217 hours.
