At 00:10 Tower 5 was requested to responded to assist Company 40 Oakland,MD. Tower 5 responded with a crew to the American Legion in Oakland. On scene KVFD was staged on Memorial Drive in front of the Legion. KVFD's crew was put to work pulling ceiling tiles in the dining hall to check for extension in the ceiling.  Tower 5 cleared around 02:15.
